“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” -Jesus
It’s hard for me to believe that Riverbank is in its 9th year of existence! It seems like yesterday that I was telling people about a different church we were going to start; a church where everyone is welcome, where Jesus would be the absolute center as we engaged in His rescue mission. At that time many scratched their heads in wonder, while many others said sign me up! After meeting in various portable and semi-permanent spaces, in 2016 we moved into our equipping and sending worship center and we have seen God do some miraculous things: hundreds have been rescued by Jesus and have gone public with their faith in baptism, we have sent a group to launch a second location in Claremont, NH, a thriving and life giving recovery ministry has expanded, and countless families have been served through Riverbank Kids and Students ministries. It has been an incredible season here at Riverbank, but I truly believe the best days are ahead!
I’m so excited to look FORWARD to the next season and opportunity to further engage in the rescue here at Riverbank. FORWARD is a an opportunity to invest further in the rescue mission in very practical ways – especially with children and families in mind. I believe that in order for our church to continue to move FORWARD we must expand our space, reach and hearts. As you continue to scroll this page, you’ll learn how we plan to move FORWARD with that goal.
There’s nothing more exciting than being a part of this move of God! I hope that you will pray about how you are able to participate financially. The truth is, we must expand our reach to families and children if the rescue is to move FORWARD. I hope you will join me in this exciting new opportunity. Please take time to look through these plans. Then after prayer, please consider contributing to FORWARD.

Project: Expand white River Junction
Riverbank Kids in White River Junction is at max capacity throughout the weekend. Currently there are over 200 kids and servants on a weekend. That’s amazing news, but it means that we can not reach more families effectively with our current space. In addition, we would like to create a space for our teenage students to engage in the rescue in their own unique way.
Family Center – We will convert the current auditorium into a full Family Center – providing twice the current space for Riverbank Kids, as well as a unique space for our Riverbank Students. This new space will even include an indoor playground!
New Auditorium – Our current space was built with expansion in mind. Directly east of the building, we will build an adjoining 600 seat auditorium with additional lobby space. Our current auditorium seats 320, so this means we can further engage in the rescue by adding seats, in addition to the Family Center.
Expanded Parking – We will be able to restore the current parking lot and expand parking capacity by at least 50 spaces. Again, more opportunity to reach people by creating more parking.
Project: build a church in Guatemala
We believe that we must be participating in the rescue not only in our local communities, but in other parts of the world. One of the ways we’ve done that is by partnering with compassion international to sponsor children living in Guatemala. Through that partnership, there are currently over 100 children that are being sponsored by individuals and families from Riverbank.
Through Compassion, we have the opportunity to build a local church facility that will house a Children’s Center for those very children that we have sponsored in the Child Sponsorship Program!
Project: reach new communities
It’s important that we are prepared to engage in the rescue mission in others parts of our region. There are still many communities that do not have a life giving, rescue mission minded church and we think that it’s important that we are prepared to respond by launching locations.
